Ok so I went and got a male thong wondering if it would hold in a plug...I think it will do the trick! So I can ditch the rope harness thank goodness! Except this is one of those one size fits most....maybe in freaking China where the dudes are like 5'7, 100lb's! I have a few extra lb's but I'm not fat and I had to stretch the hell outta this thing to get it on.

I also upgraded the good ole' lube...I got some Gun Oil.....makes a ton of difference, the cheap shit was burning a little bit. The Gun Oil makes the sensation a whole lot better.

If you want to try silicone lube put a tiny drop on the base of your plug somewhere. If there's going to be a problem the silicone lube will immediately stick to the plug and be practically impossible to dislodge (it won't melt the plug, unlike some of the reactions with jelly where the result is a puddle of goo). Note that if there appears to be a reaction check it again the next day - I tested silicone lube on a Tantus plug, freaked when a "welt" developed, and then when I looked the next day it had gone away. I still don't use silicone lubes on that toy, but it wasn't permanently ruined.

The biggest problem seems to be with the super-soft "real feel" silicones - treat those with kid gloves (don't let other toys rest against them, don't use silicone lubes, don't squish them).

Enjoying anal play isn't freaky. Guys seem to be more interested in the long-term plug wear, possibly because we have a prostate which gives added sensation. It's not an expression of homosexual or bisexual tendencies either (to answer the most common second question).

If you're wearing a plug long-term you're best off either getting a silicone plug or using a condom over it (there are also steel, ceramic and glass plugs that are safe for long-term wear). If your plug smells funny (like chemicals - think back to when you took it out of the bag) it probably contains phthalates, which are strongly suspected of being hazardous to health. Newer inexpensive plugs are made of thermoplastic materials (TPR/TPE) that don't have phthalates, but as they can be difficult to keep clean it's still best to use a condom.

I got the water-based Gun Oil (thank you to the most helpful dude at the Hustler store) and I love it. The other crap burned a little.

And about the smell...I dunno, I think mine smells kinda good...It doesn't smell bad at all. I took it out of the package and it had this distinct smell, I wouldn't call it "chemically" per se... and even after I wash it after use, it smells just as it did when it was brand new (although I suspect this may some day).

More about my explorations... I used to wear a rope harness to keep it in...until I bought a thong to keep it in. I loved the fact that the rope harness kept it in snug...as snug as I wanted it. On the flip side it was a pain to tie on me and take off, and it was even a bit bulky underneath my clothes The thong on the other hand doesn't keep it in quite as snug even though it is way small on me. I would love to get a better fitting thong but then it probably would be even looser in the rear. I am aware that there are harnesses, but those aren't as inconspicuous as a thong is....plus they are expensive!
