According to information on the manufacturer's website, their metal plugs are Aluminum plated.

You're welcome! If you're interested in metal plugs, check out the awesome Njoy stainless steel products; I have serious metal allergy, but I do not have any allergic reaction using the stainless steel toys made by Njoy.
