I'd suggest you start with some classic butt plugs like
this one or this set of plugs for a further size upgrade. For the vibrating options, look at the Backend delight plug.

Leil made some great suggestions. I would add that as a way to get your wife involved a little bit is find a set anal beads with a nice easy to grab ring handle, and she can pull them out at your climax.

I would check out the intimate diver -- super versatile, easy to use -- and your wife might be more comfortable/interested in participating if she has it as a barrier - but you could use it for yourself too
