i have this link now. I am looking for recommendations on a good next step and something that i will not have to hold in place and possibly wear for a bit at a time.

I am not sure what the diameter of that toy is, looks pretty thin though. I have the Ryder by Tantus link and it is 1 1/2 inch in diameter and 3 3/4 inch insertable. The base is super comfortable and the plug stays in place great. It is 100% Silicone so it can be sterilized, which is great. I share mine with my husband and we both love it (it was an intermediate plug for him, and it worked great). There are some reviews for this including one by me and one from Jimbo Jones, he is more of a long term wearer than I am. Anyways, I love my Ryder

I have communicated with flcruiser a bit about this through messaging, but I'll answer here as well just so that if some one else sees it, they will have my answer too.

I agree with Bulma, I think the Ryder at 1 1/2" diamter is a good step up and would probably be good for his intended use. It stays in place well and is confortable for long term wear. It is made of great material and is an excellent toy.
