I just want to know which plug, severin or the screw, people would recommend for long-term use. I'd appreciate your input.

I would vote for neither!
The neck on both these toys is 1 inch and I have the severin and I can tell you from experience that it is not ideal for long term wear, it can make you sore after 30 mins of use or more depending on your level of experience with plugs.
I would go with something with a smaller neck like the Joe rock,or the love pacifier advanced. Otherwise if you are willing to invest in a little more money for your butt I would go with the pure plug medium.

Are you wondering about the Severin, or the Severin Medium?
I guess my vote will depend on how experienced you are with plugs. As Naughty Student says, the thinner the neck, the more comfortable for long term wear. I use my Pure Plug most often when I want something long-term.
That said, I've got a Severin Medium which wouldn't be impossible to use for long-term wear, even though its neck is thicker than the Severin Small.
How experienced are you? I'm tempted to vote for the Screw because it's pretty and I'm personally curious about it... but I really enjoy my Severin too. Either would be a good choice provided you're ready for the girth.

I don't have a lot of experience with toys that are 1 1/2 inches wide or more. I usually use glass toys.

The screw would be good but it tends to come out, so if you wear a pair of tight pants it could work. The silicone on the Screw is super soft and very comfy.
I have the Severin medium so it is a bit bigger but it will stay in. One secret to long term wear comes with using an oil based lube, most of the discomfort I have is from the base chaffing my cheeks. More often than not it is because water based lube drys out, oil based will not dry as fast.
Another one to look at is the Love Pacifier, I have worn that one longer than any other soft material plug.

I kind of like them both.

The screw looks nice, and I've wanted to try it for a while. I don't know about the Severin. Read some reviews!

I have the Severin Medium, and it seems to stay in well for long-term use (as does the Tantus Ryder). If you can keep your anus relaxed the width of the neck doesn't matter as much, but a long neck definitely helps to keep a plug securely in place.

The screw looks fun!
