Tantus Ripple Large or Buck as a beginner toy?

Contributor: BeachyKeen BeachyKeen
Why (or why not)? The Buck just looks sooooo fun & squishy. I've been playing with non-latex gloved fingers and organic, cosmetic-grade avocado oil. BooTay was exceptionally happy -- she had her first BooTay-only orgasm yesterday, and she murmured "More, please."

So then I got the bright idea to use Astro Glide instead of oil. Ewww. It was like cheap hair gel, it lubed next to nothing, and was a pain to wash off. BooTay was mightily displeased and I was cursing trying to wash that AG off of me. (Didn't work for the vag, either. It was weird... like it actually was less effective than what my body produces naturally. It got in the way more than anything.)

So, thoughts on my top two toy picks ** and ** if anyone would like to suggest an alternative anal lube that has the same plush, plumped-up, softening effect the oil has, BooTay would love to hear from you. ;- )

Ripple has a graduated size (smaller at first, then larger later). Buck is mostly the same size.

"BooTay" lube is a very personal choice, but good lube makes a world of difference. Many people like Maximus, but I find it burns. I like Probe Thick and Rich, but it is stringy and can be hard to clean up after. Some people like coconut oil, and if you have silicone/glass/steel toys you can use it no problem - I like coconut oil mixed with a dab of Crisco to thicken it up a bit for my oil-based lube.

Silicone lubes are very hard to clean up.

What I'd do for lubes is find some you're interested in, then check out the manufacturer's website. Many offer free samples, and it's a much better way to see if you like the lube than buying a $10+ bottle.

Getting samples is a really good idea. I tried on Amazon and on sex toy websites, but found that lower-quality offerings are typical in lube sample packs. (The whole concept of fruit-flavored lube is a bit off for me. I don't want to be reminded of lube when I'm enjoying gorgeous summer berries, you know?) I'll give the individual manufacturers' websites a try. Thanks so much for your response!
