I am interested in buying my first butt plug and I really have no idea where to turn for advice. I am not extremely new to anal play, I have taken things up to about an inch in diameter and 3 inches long, but I want something that will fill me up and that I can leave in for a little while. It also must be fairly cheap. I have narrowed it down to these choices... I think. If anything else you know of is better let me know!

The Bootie is nice, and it's not even in the options. I know it's small but I'm still using it even if I can take much larger toys and plugs.
But from the options, Ryder seems like a good pick.

I say the Ryder but that 1/2" is a good size jump, remember to use plenty of lube and go slow.

I chose Ryder, though I may be partial in that choice. I believe that the hygienic nature of the silicone material, coupled with the gentle taper makes it quite safe. Furthermore, the smoothness of the surface allows it to be inserted easily with adequate lubrication, and it is very comfortable once inserted.
However, looking again at the options, I see some merit in the Buddy as it is smaller and allows for one to get used to the initial smaller diameter before moving up to the wider bulge before the base.
In any case, be sure to take it slowly! Don't be overambitious the first time you try it if you're having difficulty.

I can't speak for those listed, but my first anal toy was this: link and I'm a big fan of it, and would recommend it. It's a cheap one of course, but great for beginning I think.
