I started with a 1" plug a couple of years ago, moved up to 1 1/4 for a year or so now I'm up to 1 1/2" plugs. I really enjoy this size and don't want to go any larger.

I am able to insert toys of up to 2.5" diameter, and I can do it comfortably. However, my 'comfort zone' is probably around 1.5" to 2", since that's a little less intense and more comfortable for longer term wear (in terms of plugs).
That's not to say that I have not worn my A-bomb or Large Sexy Spades for a fairly extended period, but I'd prefer something smaller and less cumbersome, like the Ryder or a Pure Plug Large.

For me, 2" is really comfortable and easy to insert without a warmup. I also like larger toys.

Twat are a magical thing, as long as you stretch slowly (a.k.a. DON'T shove something really think in to start with, build up to it) and do kegels you can use whatever you like. I like variety.

also like to keep it under 1.5". I have to admit though that I do have 1 1.5" that I use once in a blue moon, have the most explosive orgasms but it takes some warming up to.

1.5" is comfortable - 1.75" is a stretch - 2" is doable occasionally.

If we're talking toys, Rarely do I go over 1". I can uncomfortably use 1 1/2" if the tips is really pointy and not blunt, but any more than 1 1/2" and it refuses to go in. As for my partner's penis -- totally different story and I can handle it without terrible discomfort, and sometimes with little to no discomfort upon insertion.
