Best dildo for starters.

So much of this depends on the person that will be using it honestly. Will it be used for vaginal or anal sex? When considering length, make sure you look at the insertable length vs the actual length of the dildo. For girth, I would recommend using a tape measure to determine what would be comfortable - when I purchased my first dildo I remember thinking to myself, “that’s not too big…”. it was in fact, too big. I was still able to insert it, but I had to be very warmed up and ready and it was never a comfortable ride…just very filling.

Another recommendation with a first dildo, is to try out something that isn’t extremely high maintenance as some materials require more care and can feel like a task to clean after each use. I went ALL IN on my first dildo and purchased a high end, luxury dildo that was too big and a lot of work to keep in tip top shape. Looking back, I wish I had thought to buy something a little less expensive because I took a pretty big hiatus from dildos after that since I just thought I “didn’t like it.” But, I was wrong…a tried a few others after the fact and learned what worked best for me. Once I figured out the perfect length/girth combo, I realized just how much I liked dildos.
