bleeding

Do or have dildos/vibrators ever caused bleeding, as a result of it being too big, or dryness/not enough lube, etc.? This has never happened with us, but it makes me wonder if anyone has experienced it?

Vaginal blood:
My first dildo made me bleed a little bit because I'd never had an object so large inside me, and there was still some of my hymen remaining. Since then, the only blood I've seen on my toys is menstrual blood.

Anal blood:
I've had anal toys and appendages cause minor anal bleeding, but I always stop once I am aware of the problem and allow myself to heal before trying anal play again.

Not from toys, but my partner is pretty large, and I almost always bleed a tiny bit when we're done having sex. It doesn't matter how much lube, warming up, etc - he just almost always tears me a tiny bit on the way in. :/

I've had some minor bleeding here and there, due to both lack of lube and things being too large, combined with the fact that seem to just have super delicate tissue in there and the veins are annoyingly close to the surface of the tissue. It happens from time to time, but nothing major and nothing consistently. Just to be on the safe side, I've had it all checked out and the doctors haven't found anything negative at all.

It occasionally happens to me with either toys or my husband due to the fact that I am a "deep thrusting" kind of woman. I like it hard and rough and that often causes some little spotting. I actually mentioned it to my primary care physician last year during my annual pelvic exam and she said it is not anything to worry about and often happens to women who enjoy hard thrusting, as long as it is vaginally and not anally and is not a lot of blood or continues for several hours after sex.

Only from deep thrusting, especially if I'm pms'ing, I usually spot. Never had anal bleeding tough. Have caused it once or twice, oops!

Gosh, that's awful! It's never happened to me, but because I am petite, I don't prefer large dildos anyway! Be careful with dildos being too big, guys! Don't hurt yourselves!

Go slow, use plenty of lube, and take time to relax. Works for both vaginal and anal.

The only times I've had bleeding (anal) was when I did something stupid (not enough lube, moving too fast). My wife's never had vaginal bleeding from a toy or other sex.

Oh my goodness! More people said yes than I expected! Kudos to all of you for not being made wary of sex.

I've never had this problem. I didn't even bleed the first time I had PIV sex. I guess I have a pretty elastic vagina. (It's made of memory foam, it always goes back to it's original shape. )

I've spotted midcycle, due to really vigorous thrusting, but that was uterine or cervical bleeding, not actually from the vagina.

I'd say if this is happening, more stimulation and lube need to be used before any type of penetration. Blood from the actual vagina means a tear and it can take a while to heal and be very unpleasant.

I've never had any bleeding from vaginal sex or toys, but I did bleed once from using a toy anally (too fast, not enough lube). Lesson learned!

This has never happened to me, however I can see it being a problem if there was not enough lube or if someone is thrusting very hard.

Bleeding? No. However, I've scratched myself or made small tears at the opening that later left a slight pinkness if I wiped myself or something. That usually came from rough sex though more than size. I had an old partner that actually caused a bit of bleeding on the inside, my doctor told me to stop having sex for a bit until it went away and then to use lube/be more careful.

Sometimes my cervix can get pretty sensitive and prone to bleeding if something were to bump up against it. Usually it's my boyfriend's cock that's doing the bumping, but a toy has produced the same effect before. Usually, though, I stay away from my cervix with toys to avoid this problem.

Also, I prefer smaller toys for penetration. My boyfriend's cock is pretty much the biggest thing I can handle and I'm not really interested in stretching my vagina to the limit until I'm ready to have a baby come out of there.

Only time I bled was when I had sex the first time. other than that I always try to lube up properly and everything.

I've bled occasionally, usually when it's a really hard, large toy. (I'm looking at you, Little Hottie.) I often bleed a little with my partner; he's so large that no amount of lube and warming up works.

I have never had a bleeding issue with either vaginal or anal toys but I know my limits and if it hurts..I stop. This kind of pain is not sexually satisfying for me. And yes, as others have mentioned...lube..lube esp with anal play.

Honey, is there a possibility you could have a cervical lesion? I am thinking that your body should probably adjusted to his size by now (I know you two have been together for years) and even with vigorous or rough sex, good lube and warming up should prevent vaginal tearing most of the time. Is it painful every time? It took me about 2 years to get used to My Man, he's a big boy, too. But, I rarely had tearing, just soreness. (I was also on The Pill, and it made me really dry, even with lube.)

Also, some women have slight uterine bleeding when they have vigorous sex. Some have a few drops of blood if they have sex while they are ovulating. I have this on occasion. Sweetie, you might want to mention it to your GYN the next time you are in to see him or her and see if it is actual tearing or a uterine or cervical issue.

I just used my Ella and was surprised to see that I had blood on it and it's definitely not menstrual blood. I noticed it more during clean up when my wipes had blood on it. Afterwards, I went to urinate, and it hurt like Hell. Again, when I wiped, there was blood, so I feel like I probably thrust too hard too soon, because I have issues with penetration. It felt like the first time I've had vaginal sex, so I feel like I just broke my hymen for a second time.

It's never happened to me, though I have experienced pain and bruising from dildos that were too big or too firm.

Hmmm...I'm still bleeding a bit from last night. Maybe something got messed up in there and I should probably see a doctor. This is not going to be fun to explain to my nosy parents...
