Only two choices? My favorite dildo is made of Stainless Steel; it is hard, heavy, and retains temperature better than any of the other materials.

I haven't actually tried glass but I don't think I would like the rigidness. I enjoy the soft silicone toys. I made the mistake of purchasing a silicone toy that was rigid and I haven't been able to fully enjoy it so I'm staying clear of rigid toys for a while.
I agree with HannahPanda, glass is quiet beautiful.

I like both. I like glass for its firmness but I love the feel of silicone.

No response for me to vote as I like both equally. I love my glass in the summer when it's hot out, they have a great cooling effect. For everything else I go with silicone.

With silicone, it can bend and has a little give, which is more realistic, and if your body isn't shaped quite for the toy, then the toy can adapt, at least to some degree. When it all comes down to it, for me, I want something that's comfortable, and something that's as hard, cold, and unforgiving as glass just hurts and doesn't give me pleasure.

I like both and hate having to choose. Silicone comes in a variety of textures and firmness, which is nice, but I enjoy glass as well. Plus, with glass, I worry less about the quality than with silicone. I love both materials and intend to keep purchasing more of both of them.
Granted, right now I own many glass dildos and only a couple silicone toys, but that's mainly because high quality glass is cheaper than high quality silicone.

I prefer silicone. some how glass seems unforgiving, although, silicone isn't necessarily forgiving.

Glass is nice to look at but silicone feels more realistic.
When I use nonrealistic toys I usually prefer metal over glass. Maybe I just haven't tried out the right glass toys.
