I have not tried any of these, but I would recommend Swell wand, Icicles No1, and Icicles 22. They are some of my favorites.

The only one of these I have is the Icicles 24 and it's fun but probably not the best starter toy. I'd go with the Pink double g for that.

I haven't tried any glass yet, but I like the looks of the pink double g. I wish it was purple or blue but that's just my aversion to pink talking.
