Has the base of your VixSkin Lone Star warped over time?

Contributor: True Pleasures True Pleasures
I recently discovered that I'm not the only one whose VixSkin Lone Star has a base that has started to deform, curving upwards and making the base convex. Mine was left out with the base resting half on a plastic bin and half on a shelf of a night stand. That being said, I had just figured it was my fault.

Another person had said that they stored theirs upright, and it still happened. Their theory is that maybe the soft material had contracted, causing the edges to pull up, and it could have been from them boiling it or putting it in the dishwasher. What I'm curious about is if anyone else has had this issue.

I don't own Lone Star, but the base of my Goodfella has started to warp. I assumed it was from my grasping it during trusting.

Hmm... Is that one VixSkin, too?

I have had my Lone Star for a little over 6 months, and the base is still as flat as the day I got it.

Hasn't warped yet, but I've only had it a month or so.

I want to say the base of the first Bandit I had did warp, but I don't remember, and I tossed it awhile back.

I have a Maverick and it hasn't warped. Silicone should be pretty stable once it's cured - perhaps ask Vixen?

I do take better care of my dual-density dildos than my others - the Maverick is kept in its plastic tube when not in use.

I have heard that you have to take really really good care of that toy for it to stay intact

So I checked out my new Bandit today. It's only a couple months old, and the base of it has already warped. I have run it through the dishwasher a couple times, so maybe that is the cause...

I don't have the Lone Star, but I've had both my Tex and Spur for several months now, and both of their bases are completely fine. They've both been boiled several times, too. That said, they have simple rounded bases that are very firm, so I don't know how they compare to the ones with balls bases.

How long did you have it before you started noticing it? That's really sad.
