How do you store...

Your glass toys?

Mine came in that thin velour type bags, and I'm looking for something more substantial to store them in, so nothing breaks on me.

(I keep all my toys in a rubbermaid tote (they outgrew my drawer lol).. so any suggestions would be great!)

My only current glass toy came with its own padded pouch, but for one I had previously I actually snipped a hole in the bottom of one of those thinly-padded EF storage pouches, stuffed some fluff I had laying around (like for making stuffed toys) in between the two layers, and sewed it back up. That worked well.

I hear you about running out of room. I quickly ran out of room also. Then, I converted an old foot locker into our toy box. I keep quilts on top of it so no one ever peeks in.

For my glass toys, I purchased a cloth lined basket and to keep them in. Also, to keep them from banging into each other I wrap each one in a small dish cloth. Not ideal for knowing which one is which, but it is the only thing I could come up with.
