I would have to say thin with some texture. Anything bigger then 1 1/2 diameter just don't work for either of us.

I can personally do with or without texture, so I think I would prefer more girth without any texture.

I like thinner toys with texture. Girthy toys tend to leave me sore and makes for a not-so-fun time.

i can't really feel very much if i'm too "full", definitely the texture is the way to go for me
