Nope, too expensive!
Maybe, if I found one I liked.

Since I feel as though I'm always adding to my collection, luxury toys have taken a back seat to more affordable toys. But i do have my eye on some of the pricer Fun Factory toys. Can't wait to try some of those!

I know what you mean. I also am interested in a few of the Fun Factory toys. The Stronic line interests me.

If after researching we would. The more it cost, the more research is required though.

It depends on how you define "luxury". If Tantus is included, then all of the toys that I actually use often end up being luxury; if not, Tantus is the only non-luxury brand I end up using. The rest just... lie around there. When it comes down to it, I'd rather have one luxury toy than five of my regular ones.

Granted, there are bad luxury toys, or ones that aren't worth the money. Some research is, of course, necessary.

Although not always, luxury usually means a better motor with a deeper rumble, the ability to recharge, more body safe materials and nicer features. So, yes, I'd still do the research, but err on the side of luxury over not.

Luxury could be defined as premium/rare/better/mo re durable materials. Perhaps the use of gold, silver, platinum or other uncommon but body safe material, however, this is not a necessity. An extended warranty should be a component of this classification and/or a better or smoother design, perhaps one that pleases the eye. Sure, I'd consider Tantus to be a luxury toy company. My reasoning for placing them into this category is due to the materials they use in the creation of their wonderful products.

I'd consider any company that includes either all or several of the above requirements to be a luxury item. Some, like Tantus, are on the more affordable end, while others like Lelo straddle the fence between affordable and expensive.

Hope this clears things up.

That does, thanks. : ) I really don't trust the silicone in a lot of the cheaper companies, so I guess that I mainly like luxury toys? I feel like a lot of Tantus discounts and the Grab Bag can make Tantus very affordable for a luxury toy, and definitely a brand that people should try.

I agree with you about the Tantus brand. Not all luxury items should carry the luxury price. Tantus is a wonderful brand.

Yes, I would buy a luxury toy if it's worth its price. To me, there is only one brand of toy that I consider luxury toys: njoy.

Another great brand that can be affordable is you are lucky enough to grab an item on sale.

I guess I was lucky! I got my Big Boy at a good price back when Eden was still selling njoy products!

Big Boy!? You wouldn't happen to be referring to the mighty 11 would you? If you are, I had to "sell" it to the partner as a home security idea. That thing is heavy!

Yup, that's the one! He's heavy but not long enough, so he's not an ideal weapon to beat up burglars!

I just learned that another lucky lady have very recently received an Eleven as a gift ... guess who?

Gee, I wonder who! (Me) I haven't used the Eleven yet... but my partner got it for me for Christmas! For now, the size still frightens me a little. : )

I feel like the pure wand is better for beating up burglars with. The shape gives you momentum.

Of course! Who else could it be? I can't believe you haven't tried it yet! The smaller head isn't that big, just warm up with the Drei before you use it.

I think one of those 18 inches jelly double-dongs will be the best home defense weapon — one whack on the jerk's ear is all it takes!

I agree with Sincerely Yours, N that it really would depend on one's definition of "Luxury vs Regular" toys. My personal criteria of body safe materials, would in the view of some constitute Luxury right there.

I dunno bout that. The curve of the wand would be a little tricky to aim. Not to mention the curved balls on either end could cause some serious damage to the perp.

That reminds me of the movie Snatch, you know the one directed by Guy Ritchie. There was a scene in the movie when a mobster kills a guy by beating him with a long and thick black dildo.

As I'm sure you are all aware, brands like Tantus, Njoy, Lelo and others make sure to use only body safe materials in their toys. This is part of the reason they are more expensive.

Ugh, I must have missed that scene! I usually get up and move around to do other things whenever there are fighting scenes. So, are you going to get your partner a gigantic double-dong?

Speaking of luxury toys, I forgot to mention handmade dichroic glass dildos ... they're beautiful!

Rossie I have and you are right, they are beautiful. I have my eye on a few for my partner but, with one of them, I can't justify the price. If you are interested, I can pass off a link.

I'm not into using glass toys, but I'd love to check out the site! Please send the link to my message box, thank you!

Very true... It's also super cold in my room right now, though, which is making me stick to wood and silicone for now. I'll wait until spring. The smaller head doesn't scare me as much as the cold does lol.
