Notch is painful

Contributor: TimMid TimMid
Hi, all.

Sorry if this was asked already--I used Google to search but only found 2 hits for "notch" in this forum.

We have a dildo (dong? it has a suction cup and balls) that is 8" long by 2" wide. The width isn't the problem. The problem is the "notch" or ridge where the head joins the shaft. DW says that it hurts, but once it's in....well...wow...

I think what would be better is something that has a head that is more narrow than the shaft, to be able to ease it in better. Or something that doesn't have such a pronounced notch.

I'd like to try something even wider, but I'm afraid to suggest it if it has that big of a ridge on it. I'm on a low budget but would like something leaning more towards "realistic."

Thanks for your time!

I know exactly what you are talking about the "notch being painful. I have the DJ ultra-realistic 8 inch and when i first started using it I had issues with the "notch" being painful. This will become less of an issue if you get a really good lube (I recommend Maximus)and if you use it frequently because your body will adjust to it better. As far as going to a larger dildo, I like the holmes dildo, but it is a big step up, and plus initially you will have issues with "notch" pain again. I think that a good intermediate dildo would be the Jeff Stryker dildo in ur3 material as it will mold to your body better than rubber making it more comfortable during use.
