Jack the price up before a sale - its a common retail strategy, your only choice is to not fall for the trap - pick another toy. I love Vixskin but I will not pay too much for it.

I was waiting for a sale to pick up the Spur. I count myself lucky, it only went up $5... but I'm STILL holding out, hoping it'll come in one of the new colors soon.

I noticed a few VixSkin toys increased in price this week, I got my Mustang and Maverick just in time to save nearly thirty dollars between them.

They're fantastic toys though, surpassed my expectations.

$14 is a hefty increase on a toy in that price range!

I will say that I noticed price increases on Johnny and Outlaw earlier this year so I guess I'm not too surprised to see the others going up now.

At $113.99 you're already close to qualifying for the 30% off $150+ sales that EF has been running fairly regularly. Something to keep in mind for future promotions to give you time to save points. I've also seen one-day sales that included some of the VixSkin dildos in the past month - 35% off then 40% later that week.

True, but I haven't noticed EF practicing this strategy. When a regular price goes up it's not necessarily right before a sale and it remains where it is after the sale is over.
