Through my logic, if you get red you get two colors because you turn off the lights and VOILA it's black, turn on the light VOILA it's back to red.
But if you get black all you get it black in the dark and black in the light.

I have the A-Bomb in red, and it's really a great colour. I was only able to get the General in black, but it's surprisingly nice in that colour too.
Regardless of colour, it's certainly a powerful item. I only received mine today and it's fantastic.
