I know it doesn't look like they do, but after watching the videos on each product page, I am thinking that the nubs may be a bit less pronounced on the mega nubby... If you notice anything else (or concur) then please help me out.

Did the nubs on the mega nubby look a bit more spaced out than the ones in the Rainbow? Hard to tell from pictures, but that's what I noticed when I watched the videos...

The rainbow nubby is longer than the mega. But to me the nubs look spaced about the same. The lighter blue-greenish colors on the rainbow are a little harder to see and can make it look more spaced out...I think.
The word "mega" scared me at first because I don't like "huge" and I associated "mega" with "huge". But then I read the reviews and saw the measurements and went with the mega nubby. Honestly if you are considering purchasing one I'd go with the mega because of that nice padded bag it comes with. Also, the fact that it is slightly shorter than the rainbow was another reason I chose it. If I'm debating on things that look similar I will go with the shorter one.

Well, the spacing and actual size of the nubs will vary from toy to toy (regardless of manufacturer) because the glass toys are hand made. It's impossible to get them exactly uniform.

Don Wand glass toys come in AMAZING pouches though. Seriously, the pouch my Bent Graduate came in is to die for!
