Someone selling SSA dildos offsite claiming "handmade"

Contributor: Ghost Ghost
I recently came across a certain store on etsy selling "handmade glass dildos". I am almost completely certain that these are the SSA glass dildos sold here. I have reported this to etsy (if you were not aware, etsy is a site to sell ONLY handmade-by-the-seller or vintage goods), but they have ignored me. I have included the links to the items if you want to report them as well..

I think it's bad enough to claim that you have made something yourself that you didn't, but also there's the possibility that these were used! I cannot find any SSA glass contact information, but if you know who to contact, please let them know!

And there are more in their shop...

There's also the possibility that the seller could be affiliated with SSA glass. If so, let me know and I'll quit flagging your stuff! And don't kick me off for trying to do a good thing.

No one's going to kick you off for posting this.... BUT there are some things to consider.

First, SSA doesn't hold the patent on those shapes. (You'll notice that the Amethyst, Bent Graduate, and the G-spot pink are all the same shape, and all different manufacturers)

Second, as for these toys being used, I would never buy a glass toy from anyone other than a toy store without sterilizing it first; and I always thoroughly wash my toys before putting them in my body. Since glass if fully able to be sterilized, there's really no bad in selling a used glass toy.

Third, SSA Glass offers us, on site, no information as to who they are or where they're located. I'm sure that the behind the scenes staff (like Maxim) know who they are and where they're located though.

I don't think that they are selling their used toys, nor doing anything wrong, and I would be reluctant to accuse anyone of wrongdoing without proof.

I just found it a bit more than coincidental that they are the same color, shape, and have the same red storage bag as the manufactured toys, but they are being sold as hand made by the shop owner. Of course, it would be hard to have really conclusive evidence since the toys have no maker's mark.

But of course, that's why I posted this, to see if anyone had a better idea!

Of course, Etsy says handmade... it doesn't say handmade by WHOM...

Etsy specifies here that handmade items must be "handmade by you" and that "Handmade goods created by someone else" are not allowed.

Even with two etsy stores, I didn't know that...
