Do you prefer a softer, more flexible dildo or a harder one?

I enjoy both. I really love all of my hard glass toys, especially for g-spot stimulation and I also love my O2 and Vixskin toys

Yea - it's kinda a no brainer - variety's the key.

I can't believe I'm the first to say softer! Harder toys don't bend with my body and are especially rough on my pubic bone if I'm trying to use them inside my vagina - I will never buy a glass toy again.
12/12/2010
depends on the moment if i want hard or soft
12/12/2010
I prefer in between. But do own soft, medium and hard toys.

Depends on the mood and what you want to do with it. Harder toys are great for maximizing internal stimulation, while softer toys are great if you want to get wilder, use different positions, or the like. I have both and use them (sometimes even in the same session).

Softer for anal, harder for vaginal.

I didn't answer in the poll because it just depends on my mood. For the most part, I prefer semi firm silicone most of the time. Hard materials, like glass, wood, or metal, are usually too firm for me. But I don't exactly like soft and floppy ones either.

i prefer the bendy kinds but hard is good too

It has got to have some give.

Depends on my mood and what I'm looking for, so variety for me.

Firm? Does that count as both? I like something stiff for a dildo, but not as hard as glass or metal. I prefer that material for smaller toys like plugs or beads.
12/12/2010
Both for sure! I love glass but I'm also dying to try something from the O2 line
12/14/2010
Both, I will many times change from a soft to glass or steel in the same session.

It depends on my mood, but I do seem to have collected more glass and metal than silicone, and I barely have anything in silicone that really qualifies as plush, besides the O2 Revolution. I have one Cal Exotics rabbit that's made of the most squishy TPR ever, and I can't even remember the last time I used it. I guess I need to order something softer.

Oops, I lied. I forgot about the Tentacle! That's super plushy and quite wonderful, but I never use it because it's serving another purpose. I'm weird and think it's art.

I guess I'm part of the minority that LOVES floppy, squishy dildos! Nothing better then having plushy silicone in me- I can be as rough as I want, in any position but it'll never cause discomfort or feel pokey!
I DO own hard dildos made of glass or firm silicone, but I tend to find myself reaching for the squishy ones more often.

Harder for the smaller ones, softer for the bigger ones.

I like them too. You can get nice and wild with soft silicone and it doesn't hurt, and you can squeeze around it and feel it give a little.

There are other times that I want something hard and unyielding. It just depends, but that's why there are so many different materials, right?

I love glass and harder silicone dildos.

Haha, I have to agree. I think most people wouldn't realize it's a sex toy -- if I saw one on someone's mantel or bookshelf, I don't think I'd find it odd at all.

My favorite dildo materials are pure silicone and glass. I use them for different purposes - rock hard glass toys are good for g-spot stimulation, while the give of silicone is good for thrusting.

I only own soft toys, for the moment since I'm an anal beginner, and a sex toy newbie. But I have been lusting after the njoy fun wand lately, which is steel. I never thought a sex toy could be sexy, but damn. I can't wait until I'm experienced enough to handle it.

Do wait until you have some experience, and consider starting your hard toy collection off with a less-expensive glass toy to see what you like in terms of size and curve.

I love, love, love hard toys! Glass and steel are my favorite materials. I never would have thought I'd like harder toys because before I tried glass, flexible silicone was my favorite.
