Strap-on Sex

Contributor: BeepBop BeepBop
I've been really interested in using a strap-on for a while.

I have used dildos before, and have decided that I'd really like something with a steep curve, hard enough to target the g-spot but soft enough to be very forgiving for beginners.

I also prefer something semi-realistic that is really visually appealing.

Does anyone have any suggestions for toys? Or general tips for first-time female-female strap on users?
Which of the following do you think best suits my purposes?

Tex! All the way It seems that has been out of stock for a little while tho, so I'll just say Vixen (who made Tex).

The Vixen line seems to be spot on for realistic with a forgiveness factor!

I looked up your recommendation!

That seems perfect in terms of texture, shape, and flexibility! However, I'm still undecided as to whether I want something realistically colored or not. I would like it on me, but not used on me. So I'm looking for something that comes in other colors, at least for my very first one.

I'll definitely keep an eye on Tex to see if it comes back in stock, though! Thanks so much for the feedback.

VixSkin or O2 are really nice. Since you want G-spot stim look for a curve or a pronounced head. Doubles are nice, but you should still get a harness with the ones you marked (though there are reports of more successful harness free F/F vaginal Feeldoe experiences then there are sucessful strapless anal Feeldoe experiences).

If it isn't too big the Fun Factory Tiger or Share XL are very stimulating - the head ridge really stimulates the G spot and the ridges help too.

If you're not tied to realistic, I'd recommend Bandito.

I love my Tantus Acute. For strap on sex, it's far and away my favorite. Slim, soft and forgiving but firm enough for good pressure, great curve and angle. The angle works great in a harness It's only very vaguely realistic and not realistically colored, but I really hate realistic dildos. I highly recommend it. I also think you should definitely look for a nice harness. Don't get a cheap crappy one. It's well worth it to invest in a nice one. Cheap, crap ones are uncomfortable, not well made and don't position the dildo well. A good quality harness will last a long time and will put the dildo in a really good position, both for the wearer and the receiver. I love strap on sex, giving and receiving. It's one of my favorite pastimes. My next big purchase will be a Aslan Leather Jaguar harness. I have a decent leather one but it's not as nice as the Jaguar.

Commando is also nice, and I've heard nothing but good about the SpareParts harnesses.

O2 Adam!

The core is firm, so the toy is not floppy at all, and maintains its upward curve well. That said, the shaft is still flexible, so it provides some forgiveness. The head is pronounced in size without a ridge that can catch, and it's squishy compared to the inner core of the shaft (again, providing some forgiveness).

I prefer Vixskin over O2, but the added inner firmness of O2, IMO, makes for a better toy for strap on play.

My experience with regular Tantus silicone (Purr and moreso the Feeldoe) is that it's really firm without alot of give. So while the Curve has the steep curve you're after, I expect it is like other non-O2 toys in that it's firm and relatively inflexible.

The Feeldoe is substantially stiffer than most other Tantus toys. The Curve is soft, and the angle is nice. I'd say it would be better for harness use than the Acute.

Yeah, the Feeldoe was noticeably harder than the Purr... but even the Purr is fairly firm compared to O2 Adam. Haven't tried the Curve though.

Okay. So pretty much everyone is in agreement that the Tantus Curve is the best option.

Does anyone know how much drag it has?

A bit, not a whole lot. It's one of Tantus' smoother dildoes but you may still need lube.

I have the Tantus Acute and like it very much. I've only used it for female-male strap on sex, but my feeling is it would work great for female-female.

We're big fans of the Feeldoe. Our experience being only F to M, however. Indeed it is on the harder/stiffer side but that hasn't caused any problems for us. I think we were both amazed at how much sensation is transferred through the toy. Each of us can feel everything the other is doing, up to and including our orgasms. Feeling her twitch inside of me as she comes is one of the most amazing things I've ever experienced!

That sounds awesome! I'm really tempted to get the Feeldoe as my first strap-on toy, but I am worried about the stiffness. So tempted to take the plunge and get that one though, especially after what you just said. haha.
