All three of these seem well-suited beginners, though the reviews for the silk line mention anal penetration much more than vaginal, and I am definitely shopping with first-time vaginal penetration (and lots of enjoyable use afterwards!) here.

I think you should go with the Silk Medium because it'll take you longer to outgrow it. Try to measure how much girth you're able to handle, though, before making a purchase, so you know it won't hurt you.

I voted for the Compact. It's on the thinner side, but as someone new to penetration I don't think you're quite ready to embrace your inner size-queen. Also, the slight texture and curve (think G-spot) should keep it interesting for longer than either Silk. Too bad the Throb isn't in-stock, I gave that one a 5/5.

Hahaha, half of the toys I have are supposed to be for 'anal use' because I don't like girthy things. If you want something thinner, don't let the size queens out there tell you it's only for anal!

I haven't used any of these, but I'd go with the Compact, since it's got a pronounced head and more of a curve--in my experience, that equals more G-spot stimulation. Also, I agree with Ryuson. I have the Acute, and I love it, but I would not have enjoyed it at all when I was a virgin. The head is pronounced like the Compact's, but the whole toy is thicker, so depending on your anatomy, the head can be uncomfortable upon first insertion; back when I was less used to penetration it would have been downright painful. Plus, he Compact isn't too expensive, so if you do "outgrow" it, it's not like you'll have spent tons of money on something you're not likely to use again.

most people say go for the medium but I still like the compact too so I'll keep on reading reviews, then. I'd consider the small more but I'm sure I'd want to move up pretty quickly, but it is the least intimidating.

I went with the compact (it's a little thinner and shorter than the silk medium), but I bought it elsewhere because I REALLY wanted another color besides black. I got it in red
