You've read the title, so tell me what you think: it's steel and it's phallic shaped and it's a steel, phallic shaped dildo. Do you have an opinion about a toy made of something hard enough to blugeon a small pigeon into a coma?
What is your opinion of Steel Dildos?

A small pigeon? Hell, my Eleven would take out the hulk. lol
Steel is in my blood so of course I love it. It is the only material that will not break, tear or fall apart when you use the wrong lube. Carbon Steel melts at about 2600 deg and Stainless melts at 2750 or so, so boil it all you like. Hell, toss is in the fire if you want, you are not going to hurt it. If it does happen to get a scratch it can be sanded and buffed back out to original (with stainless that is) finish with relative ease. Plus you can tenderize meat with it, oh ya, it could also tenderize your inners too so some caution should be used.
Another thought for folks that don't like the price. Stainless is time immortal. It will out last you, when you think about all that steel has to offer it is pretty cheap.

Steel is great - I love every piece of it that I have, especially the pure plugs and the Eleven

Skip the phallic, from a males perspective. I like the weight and temp play.

Doesn't take much to damage a small pigeon. You could probably do that with an Ella. Not that you should go around bludgeoning any creatures with sex toys.
I'd like to try a steel toy someday, but the price combined with my preference for soft materials means it'll probably be quite a while before I do. Something to save points for, I suppose.

I ordered a steel dildo that should be here on Wednesday! It'll be my first one and I'm really looking forward to it, I think I'll love the weight. I checked 'Other' though because I'm not sure yet how it'll go. I ended up getting half price on a dildo that would normally be $80... otherwise I'd say that steel is out of my price range.

Try a glass toy first, they feel pretty much the same and are a lot cheaper. That way you will know if you will like steel without paying the big bucks.

It's nice but often too heavy to use frequently.

I hope they don't feel the same! I absolutely love glass but I have different expectations for steel toys. I can't get past how industrial looking they are.

I haven't used a stainless steal dildo yet but i love my steal butt plugs. The only thing stooping me from getting a stainless steal dildo is that i want the Eleven and that thing is mighty pricey, even if it does double as a lethal weapon

Tried three glass toys, and was only really impressed with one (Bent Graduate) thus far. Eventually I'm going to try for the Pure Wand or Fun Wand, since those have the decent curves that I love.

Well, they are both hard and the finish is always smooth. You will find more textures available with glass though.

For me, that is what draws me to them, I love cars and chrome, working with steel and toys. Best of all three in one package.

I would say that of you like the Bent Graduate you will love the Pure Wand, best part is you get two different size to chose from.

Believe what Tim said about the Pure Wand, it's one of the BEST sex toys of 2011!
04/16/2012
I love the feeling but it hurts my wrist.
04/17/2012
Haven't used a steel yet.
04/17/2012
I actually just got the bent graduate and so far I love it. I want to try a stainless toy. I like that it will last forever. Though its on the pricey side, seems like an investment to me.

I haven't gotten a steal toy yet but I really want to try one!

I voted other, because I have a steel wand and I wouldn't say that I love it, but I do like it. I think one of the main differences between the way glass and steel feels is the weight. There's something nice about the weight of steel. I don't think you'll be disappointed, Sexiskewt.

Steel is all about the weight for me. The weight alone is amazing. I love steel. My Slim Fave could knock somebody out. I have actually thought about carrying it in my purse for self defense.
04/17/2012
interested in trying steel

Too heavy to be fun for me, and hurts my wrist. I had one sold by Betty Dodson. I only used it a couple times.

You can damage steel - stainless steel will pit when exposed to certain chemicals, including bleach (for a long period of time). While you can buff it out, that is a lot of work when it is pitted or dented.

I have no desire. But maybe someday.
04/17/2012
They're heavy, so you do need to be aware of how you can use them without having control or inertia problems, but they're great if you like temperature play. Glass is very close, lighter weight, and cheaper, and it's much more durable then you might think.
