I noticed that there are pretty much three colors for realistic dildos, with a variation of names for the three. Which do you prefer and why? It's an interesting thing to think about. I can't help but wonder, when reading reviews for realistic dildos, why the reviewer happened to choose a certain shade.

I only have the Tantus O2 Adam, but I always wishlist the dildos in caramel...mostly because I love to eat caramels!

I've been looking at a few lately, and like the ones that are close to my own skin tone. That way, if I use them in a harness, it's visually closer to being an extension of myself, I guess.

Great question! I like the caramel/mocha colored ones. I used to get my realistic dildos in vanilla/cream all the time, but then I noticed that the color didn't look too realistic at all. It's just too pale. Caramel definitely appears much more natural.

I really wish they would have a better selection of colors. I think that the caramel being more natural has alot to do with why I love it!

I prefer vanilla, since my own skin is fairly pale, even though I know that real penises are typically a bit darker than the skin around them. Though I have seen pictures and videos of pale chaps with equally pale cocks - I guess the real thing varies quite a bit in this regard.

I usually go with the palest option as I am super pale myself. Also it seems the least realistic and as I'm not really a fan of the realistic look so it appeals to me the most. I much prefer fun colors, but I like realistic materials. What's a girl to do?

So brown is my favorite color. The chocolate realistic color looks so pretty to me, and matches my room!

That said, my first ever 'realistic' dildo I got in caramel, because it looks more realistic to me.

My only "mocha/chocolate& quot; realistic dildos are the VIP supersoft, and Mark Supersoft, which are really sort of stylized realistic, and look so nice and pretty.

I'm currently trying to pick whether I want a caramel VixSkin Buck or chocolate... I know that's my next realistic cock but I just can't choose which color! Maybe it'll come down to a sale and which one's in stock during the sale.

If I want the realistic to match my skin tone, then it's gotta be one of the caucasian ones... but I think some companies do it better than others. I'm happy with the VixSkin vanilla color, but the O2 cream is almost as white as, well, actual cream. Unless we're playing a medical scene, I'm not partial to totally white toys.

I do think that Tantus's caramel tone is prettier than Vixen's though.

I keep looking at the realistic ones, and I just can't get into it for some reason. I feel like I know its fake, so its fake. Kinda like it hot pink colored! lol, I get the appeal though, and have tried to get into them for the sake of trying new things.

I prefer guys that have brown skin...

I like dildos that are categorized as caramel, brown, or black, but have yet to get one. Truthfully, the color of the realistic dildo doesn't matter that much to me. But I imagine that if I were dating someone, I'd want a fake cock the same color as him.

I tend to like lighter colored flesh tones, since I am so pale they don't contrast too much. The cream color of Tantus is too light for me though, it just looks unrealistic in that shade. I have one in caramel, black, and mocha so far. Sad to see they are discontinuing the mocha, because I actually like it best now that I have one in it. It looks like chocolate.

If I have to pick a "flesh tone" color, I go with mocha/chocolate - it's generally the richest/prettiest color. I feel like the cream/caramel tones usually don't have enough of a pink undertone to them and end up looking like ken-doll dicks, which is pretty unappealing to me. If I were choosing a toy for harness play it'd have to be a very(extremely) pale cream.

I vastly prefer non-flesh tones - the more pearly, metallic, sparkly, neon, or glowy the better.
