I've been eyeing both the 28 and 17 as well. Even though I usually like texture I think I might go for the 17 first, the curve and the bulb look really nice.

No. 17 looks nice. And I have the Don Wands Curved Purple Swirl (which looks very similar to No. 28), and I would say don't get it unless you know that you really like pronounced textures.
