Is it a good idea to buy a gift set, and gift each item separately to different people? Or would it be better to get everyone something a little different?

I do both and make my own gift sets for each person. That way they are customized per person and the inappropriate items are kept for me.

some gift sets are very nice...

I really don't like that type of gift because some people are sensitive to certain scents and some don't like certain scents and then you end up with a cupboard of stuff to re gift!

I have done that before...bought gift sets and then remade them...people have always liked them
