In your opinion, what kind of toy or which would be good to give to someone as their first sex toy?

I'd recommend a bullet. I'm assuming you mean for a woman. I'd get something cute that doesn't look like a sex toy, like maybe a lipstick shaped one.

Get something on the small side that is either a basic, non vibrating dildo or a not too powerful vibe.
My very first toy was one by Evolved, and it wasn't a bullet, but it also wasn't too large to intimidate.
