I thought about getting a couple friendly toy as a wedding gift for my best friend. I'm not sure if this would be a good idea or if it is inappropriate. what do you think.

Depends on how comfortable they would be getting a toy from you. Safer bets would be massage candles and/or bath products for the honeymoon.

It really depends on how comfortable you and your friend are with these kinds of things. If you've talked about toys or know that she uses them then I would think it'd be ok.
I'd probably stick to something a little more elegant and abstract like a We-vibe or JimmyJane toy.
To be a little safer you could always make a little basket with massage oil, bath stuff, candles and a little handheld massager. That way it's not specifically a sex toy.
