I have a great roommate and she helps me out so much. But I'm wondering if buying her a sex toy would be ok, I know she uses them. (She got me started in this site) But its one thing to get someone started and another thing to say "Here, take this sex toy"

So if you think I should get her a gift, what sorta price range would be appropriate? And if you don't think I should, why not?

Maybe a gift card would be more appropriate? If she got you started on the site then you know she shops here, but it is less potentially awkward than giving her an actual toy. Plus you could be sure that she will be able to get what she really wants.

I totally agree. I got my roommate an anal vibrator, but I knew she wanted one, and we're really close and talk about that stuff all the time. But it could backfire and be awkward if you're not too sure. You really can't go wrong with a gift card!

I agree with what's been said - while it won't be necessarily awkward to give her a toy since she got you started on here, unless you know specifically what she'd want a giftcard might just be all-around easier. I'd say price-wise maybe $40ish? It's a good chunk of money that could cover a decent toy or could be put towards a more pricey toy that she might not otherwise be able to afford.

40 dollars sounds reasonable. What a nice roommate you are! I was just glad when the sink didn't have dishes in it!
