Green toys

What exactly is the difference? How much longer do they last/what are the benefits? I won't sit here and act like I know everything - in fact I'm completely ignorant to this topic - so I'd love some feedback so I can potentially order some things. (:

I'd like to know too. Part of it may be that they are rechargeable, rather than needing batteries that would end up in a landfill somewhere. For it to be really green I would expect the company manufacturing it to practice green production as much as possible as well. Otherwise, to me it really is just a rechargeable toy.

I think it's usually used for rechargeable toys? But also for ones made of wood and ceramics instead of plastics/etc? At least, as far as I know.
