Buy-out? Can we?

So a little while ago we all collectively figured out that lingerie is no longer available for free review thanks to Lauren. But now I'm wondering...since the "grab it" button isn't working on lingerie, does this mean we can't do a buy out? The only way to generate a buy-out discount (as far as I know) is to "grab" and item and then add it to your regular cart from your assignment cart.

Am I mistaken, or can we no longer get the 30% discount for a buy-out on lingerie items? Thanks to anyone that can help answer this! less

I recently did a buy out assignment for a lace petticoat, and found I couldn't grab it. I simply went into the product search under the Reviews section in my dashboard, and searched for the product name. Just click request product for review, and it will put it in your assignment cart. From there, you can request a buy-out assignment. Worked just fine for me, and as far as I know it's not cheating the system as I received it and haven't heard anything from the admin about it. I don't know about lingerie in general, and "that lingerie is no longer available for free review" is news to me.

However, the way that I would do a buy-out is different from how you've proposed. Here's what I do:

-Go to Product Search.
-Select Lingerie from the drop-down category menu.
-Click the button "Request product for review" next to the lingerie item you want
-The page refreshes and changes the button to a link that says "submit request in assignment cart"
-Click on that link to go to your assignment cart, where the product should now be listed.
-Click the button "Request product for review"
-Select "Buy-Out" from the options given.

Note: I haven't actually submitted a request for a buy-out on lingerie, so I don't know what happens when you click the buy-out option and then click "OK" or "Request" or whatever the affirmative button says. But that's how I'd do it instead of grabbing the item. I hope that helps. ^_^

As a sidenote, I'm not really sure if this "grab button" problem is actually because of the lingerie. I really think it's a flaw with the site itself - a mess up in coding. Especially when you consider I can't grab anything on the site - not just lingerie.

Something else that was posted that works: You can actually just "drag" the grab button up into your browser's tabs (On Firefow, at least) and it will load the page for you. That's how I've been adding to my assignment card to write reviews. less

Yes I have been having issues with the grab button as well. I always have to right click and open in a new tab in order for an item to go to my assignment cart. Then I can't choose color/flavors. I think I'm going to use the product search thing.
