How would you wear this? Too sheer to wear as a mini skirt - have you worn this underneath clothing? Is the purpose to make your skirt appear more poofy? It's pretty and I'd like to figure out how to incorporate it into an outfit, just don't know where to begin!

A petticoat (or underskirt), by definition, is meant to be worn under another skirt or dress. Couldn't tell you the purpose of that, though, especially since I almost never wear skirts or dresses.
Perhaps you could layer another, shorter skirt on top of it to give the appearance of a lace trim? Though it's pretty darn short to begin with...
