Ok, just 2 or 3 persons here like light colors lingerie.. one of the reasons to choose black color is that it shows woman more slim. White color also does that.

It's supposed to suggest that the wife is wearing lingerie for the first time and is virginal for her husband.
In my opinion that's an outdated tradition that needs to be throw out immediately. Wear what you look good in. I know very, very few women (or men) who look good in white anyways. I look absolutely awful in white or light colors so I almost always wear black or jewel tones.

I prefer Black its so much sexier and you can add color to it with stockings and things like that..

red looks monstrous on me! Lol. I like bold, bright colors like neons and pink. I have quite a few black tu-tus with corsets in black and purple which I love! If it's plain black, it's not exciting to me.

Black and red are my favorite, although I like most colors. recently, I've been eying this purple and black pantie and bra set for my GF. Something about the color match sets off that outfit. Pink, meh I could do without.

I'm a woman and I find dark colors far sexier. Light colors are girly and feminine, child-like even. Not sexy at all. "Cute", maybe. I'll buy light colors for my regular underwear, though.

I tend to like black in general, but I'm brown, so bright colors tend to look good on me (according to popular opinion). White is quite nice, and red can be great too. I think that companies like to stock black because it's supposed to be slimming, so they figure that women will feel sexier in it.
