Does lingerie have seasonal color trends?

Contributor: snowminx snowminx
When I go to the store all I tend to see is red (or hot pink), full black, and white "wedding" things. Sometimes the occasional purple and blue.
Is this just a seasonal thing or is this a big trend in lingerie like how sex toys have a thing about light pink being as their go to color? Some of the panties have different colors but the stockings, outfits, ect just seem all the same color patterns.

I see lots of beautiful colors where I shop.

I see a lot of the same patterns too, especially online, which is the only place I can practically shop for anything in my size. I have no idea why.

Pinks, black, and red are all go tos. I hate it because I can see a white set that looks nice but it has pink accents and I end up not getting it because of the way color choices. I don't own any lingerie, but all my bras and stuff that I really end up liking are blue. It's hard to find a white variety of colors when, if a company makes the colors, people will complain about the shade or something else.

Don't even get me started on animal prints!

Must be what the majority of the population buys.

In the stores by me, red and black are what sells the most, so generally that's all they carry. It's all about what people buy. Why carry product that won't sell? It sucks, but meh, retail.

I like blue and reds, usually. Or black.

Here I go I usually see pink and flowery patterns. Sometimes I see the occasionally shimapan (stripe)

I like blues and greens. It is hard to find them though. I own mostly black though because that is what is most available.

I think it's somewhat seasonal. I also think that the other colors that are available tend to be available everywhere during a season, and then gone. Like browns in fall, or citrus-y colors in summer.

I know that most companies that sell bras with actual cup sizes follow seasonal color trends, but I'm not sure about things like Coquette. I feel like Coquette especially just sticks to whatever line they are doing at the time. I do know that there is a clear difference between, for example, Curvy Kate's Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter lines. There are still black, white and nude pieces in both collections, but the other colors are very different.
