when looking at lingerie, i always wish they would say what size the model in the picture is wearing. i just feel like it would help me get a better sense of how it should fit certain body types.

I would agree with that. Fortunately with a lot of pieces there are reviewers who have tried the item out and can tell you how what size fits their measurements
