I have noticed that a large number of the lingerie pieces that are currently on sale have had very few or no reviews. Now, with the sale, and/or the lovely 25% off coupon code, these pieces are beginning to have reviews written for them, or they will soon.

So, is this clearance sale an extremely clever marketing idea on the part of EF to have people not only buy more of these items that have been taking up space in the stockroom, but also to finally get some reviews written for them? Or is it seriously a clearance sale, where these items will be stricken from the EF catalog after they sell out? What do you think?

*I know I have been trying to request an item for a free assignment for four days, and all of these have been denied outright (3 or more reviews/pending reviews), or they have been cancelled after being submitted (this has happened four days in a row for me).

I have no idea but if it is a marketing idea - it is a very clever one. I'd already done a buy-out of six items for my reviews when the sale started. I ended up getting 6 pairs of underwear (I may have used the PLEASURE SALE for those) plus three more lingerie items - and then I wound up ordering one more lingerie item.

I am thinking about going back for another couple of pieces since I've earned a couple of gift cards and stuff.

I'd really like to buy some pieces, but I'd need a mentor on how to write an extremely useful lingerie review so I haven't bought anything yet. I have a couple undies I got for Christmas that I haven't written about b/c I just don't know how to write about it.

I just want to point out that while I'm not as experienced as Sam or Laur3n at lingerie reviews, I will be glad to mentor anyone who would like some help. You don't HAVE to do photos of yourself wearing it - although doing some photos of it laying on the bed might be nice.

Anyway - if anyone needs help - feel free to message me or ask me to mentor you.

Now that I've STOLEN Beck's template - I find doing lingerie reviews so easy and fun!

I've been wondering about doing reviews on clearance items. what if by the time your finished it's not on the website anymore?can you still submit it? is there any point?

Even if something gets discontinued, you can still review it. If the manufacturer stops making the item, it might be a bit less helpful to write a review, but if it's only been discontinued on the site, it could easily come back or may still be available for sale elsewhere.
