some latex help needed!

Hey everyone,

I just ordered this piece and I'm REALLY excited. I've been curious about latex forever and now I finally get to experience it. I figure if Liberator has anything to do with it, it's got to be good stuff, right? So I got this Pink Galette set in a medium.

Here's my question: can I use silicone lube to get in and out of this thing, or do I really need to purchase yet another silicone based lube specifically designed for wearing with latex? Additionally, does anyone have any advice for a newcomer to latex? Should I do powder instead? Anything else I should be aware of?

Very appreciated! Thanks everyone

This is copied from the Liberator site. It looks like Pjur bodyglide can be used as well, which is a silicone lube. I just went under one of their products listed there link. Whether you can safely use other silicone lubes I'm not sure.

POLISH + WASH + WEAR
Easy latex Care

Polish: Let your latex couture shine! Enhance these adornments by lightly buffing with silicone-based "polish." Our favorites are Pjur Latex Polish and Pjur Bodyglide (also aids in dressing and comfort).

Wash: Rinse in clean, warm water with no soap/detergent. Wipe off excess water with care before putting away. Do not tumble dry, dry clean or iron under any circumstances.

Wear: Oils, solvents and grease destroy latex, so be careful not to expose it to oil-based products. Do not allow perfumes or make-up to get in contact with the garment. Wipe with a moist towel as soon as possible to lift off these types of stains. Also, the surface can be permanently scratched if it is polished too firmly or with too hard a cloth. Copper or copper alloys will stain colors, so avoid contact.

Note: Prolonged exposure to light can destroy latex clothing. It is advisable to store clothes in the black envelope in which it arrives.

By the way that outfit set is hot! Hopefully there's a review coming.

Hey Kindred, thanks for your response. I did actually check out their site/that info which is actually what led me to post. I saw that they had a special latex silicone based thing with Pjur and I was unsure if that was the same as regular ol' silicone based lube. Hm...more Googling, methinks.

If you read under polish, it says "Pjur Latex Polish and Pjur Bodyglide". Bodyglide is the lube: link

But I should also add I have no latex experience, but I'm getting interested looking at these. EF needs to carry more

Check out this link. It describes the Pjur cult dressing aid and how it differs from their lubes. Enjoy your set and I am looking forward to the review.
