She's worn thigh highs for years because she hates fooling with a garter belt, but is no longer liking the silicone feeling in the thigh highs. Stockings make me think of tights, where they come all the way up to your waist. They're convenient and comfortable but not very sexy, unless you're in to that type of thing. When I want to feel sexy I go for thigh highs, whether with a garter belt or the type that has the grippers and stay up on their own. I personally find the garter belt to be sexier, but my husband disagrees.

I don't wear either for every day life, but if I want to feel sexy/pretty/get dressed up - I'd rather go with stockings and garter belts. It feels and looks nicer to me.

Once you start using garters and stockings, you'll never go back to panty hose. It has a learning curve, but it's worth it.

Honestly though, I only own a single pair of thigh highs right now...they still look brand new because my big ole thighs are so much wider, they immediately roll to my knees and I take them off in favor of regular pantyhose. I am really looking forward to getting a garter belt and stockings though!

The thigh-highs with the silicone top never work for me, but I like wearing thigh-high socks that are tight at the top when wearing out with outfits, because I don't like garter belts showing. Otherwise, I like garters for other situations.

I prefer wearing a garter belt with them. The thigh highs tend to just fall down on me, I have very skinny legs. The garter belt keeps them where they're supposed to be!
