I think these look so so sexy but I am wondering if anyone who has gotten these could share their thoughts. My biggest concern is size. My thighs arent enourmous but I am still wondering if I should go with the plus size to be safe. That tight,digging into your leg look is a huge pet peeve of mine...

I would say go with a plus size to be safe. If they're a little big, you can always wear some garters.

I'm 5'10" with a 34" inseam and my legs are 21.5" at their widest point. I asked for the plus size "just to be safe" after years of O/S thigh high stockings coming to just over my knees. The stockings do come up appropriately high on me, but they're baggy. You do NOT want baggy wet look. It's like having two slightly matte trash bags fluttering around your legs. It's the opposite of hot, trust me. But they were a gift and I can't return them, so I'm SOL.
