Well, anal lube does tend to be thicker, which is a boon for backdoor play. Much lube for him is oil-based and greasier, which I personally wouldn't like vaginally. However , I don't find the difference between lube for her and regular lube to be all that notable.

If I was blindfolded there is no way I could tell the difference. Best bet is to try a few different types of small bottles and then buy a big bottle of the one you like.

I use water based anal lube (Sassy Booty) for everything. It just work, so I don't see a point having a variety.
