Anyone have any recent experience with the Boy Butter line?

I really wish Eden carried this line.

Anyhow, I am on the hunt for a better lube. I have very sensitive skin and most of our toys are silicone. My husband and I are looking for a cream based lube that will stay put for anal. I really despise liquidy lubes; the kinds that get all over every thing, except the exact place you need them.

If anyone has used Boy Butter or I can't believe its not boy butter or the Lucky Lube, did you like it? Do you still use it? What makes it bad or good? Should I try it?

I'm interested to see what response you get.
I wouldn't mind trying something else... not so messy.

They carry that one. It is on my wishlist because I have not tried a jack off lube or an oil base. No experience though.

The Boy Butter works pretty good, it's not very thick so you end up using more than say a water based lube like Maximus. But it does last while. Even though it has a oil in it, it is still water based so it does not work all that great in the shower/tub. Works great with silicone and glass materials anally and OK as a jack off lube.

When I first opened it it looked like cottage cheese, but after mixing it up it smoothed out. I found it best to store it in the fridge or cool location. (think butter)

If you consider buying it, buy the small tub first. That way if you do not like it you are not out much.

Ahhhh, good that it will be ok with silicone even though it has oil in it.
So it will be ok on Cyberskin and UR3 as well???

Would you say it's better than waterbased anal lube?

Lol @ cottage cheese.

I've got this on my wish list as well. The description says it's coconut oil mixed with 'organic' silicone - which I have never heard off - but they say it's used in hair conditioners.

Coconut oil has been talked about in some other posts - I think Carry Ann is a big fan of the stuff. I'm definitely going to include it in my next toy order.

The cottage cheese effect is likely temperature related, when it contacts the skin it probably melts like cocoa or shea butters.

Thanks for posting your opinion. I think I will try the small tub. Currently, we use Maximus and Gun Oil Silicone for anal, but Maximus has a tendency to sting me and silicone makes it a pain in the ass (no pun intended, but funny none the less) to clean the tub and the shower, so I can only imagine what it is doing to my septic system.

So my massage therapist makes her own massage cream from organic shea butter. I have an appointment in the next hour and I intend to ask her point blank if she has ever used it for lube and if so, if she can teach me how to make it or let me try it. I will let you know what she says.

Lol @ cottage cheese.
Oil based lubes are suitable for silicone, even though I read a lot of reviews that say not to use it. Think about silicone cooking utensils or bake ware. I do not know if this applies to Vixskin type silicones, maybe ScottA can chime in about that.

It will harm Cyberskin and UR3 though, maybe not right away but over time it will degrade it.

As far as which one is better, water based anal lubes are thicker and stay put better. The oil based lubes last longer. So I guess take your pick. I only use water based except when I am in the shower/tub. Then it is Glass/Stainless and silicone lube.

I use it with silicone toys for anal all the time. I works works well and last a long time. My only beefs are that a)it is not a slippery as silicone lube, and b)it isn't made from the most natural ingredients out there.

Boy Butter will work with any 100% silicone toy, including VixSkin and O2. I did notice quite a bit of burning for some unknown reason when I tried it out. I was testing some lubes for a paraben-free series of reviews on my blog, and when I tried the Boy Butter is was almost as though someone had put Tabasco in it. Not fun, and to this day I can't figure out why, since I do not know of any sensitivities that I have to any of the ingredients. Perhaps it was just something in that one batch. As far as I can recall the water-based Boy Butter did have some parabens in it.

Yeah, that's true. Didn't think of silicone baking ware
Bugger it will damage cyberskin cause most of my dildos are made from Cyberskin and UR3.
Because of that, I have only used water based lubes but I do have a VixSkin.

Something I have wondered about - in the past I have found it takes awhile for my body to get rid of silicone lube when I did use it a few times (I loved the tingle one) way back. If I was to use silicone lube anally with glass, how long (roughly) should I wait before it's safe to use a silicone toy anally?

I guess most would say - use a condom but I'm not a fan!

Hmmm, maybe I'd be better staying around from this - especially when someone finds it burns.

I have enough trouble with water based lubes and stinging at times. It's weird though and I wish someone had an idea on what might be causing it.

I'm usually fine with the first insertion but after I orgasm - and I let the dildo just sit in my ass while I recover, when I start ramming again it will sometimes REALLY sting. Other times it is fine unless I pull the toy completely out. If I try to re-insert, it stings!
I use quite a bit of lube but my ass tends to just push it up the toy and a lot of it sits around the anal openning.
So maybe not enough is getting in?????

I have purchased (hope it's here tomorrow) what they call (over here) a lube tube. I haven't seen them here but it's possible they are called something different.
I'm hoping that if I squirt lube in my ass as well as the toy, that it may stop that stinging. Fingers crossed!

It happens with Silicone, VixSkin, Cyberskin, TPR and Crystal Essence toys.
I believe the only material toys I have that didn't cause it was glass. But I don't find them filling enough so I rarely use them.
I didn't get the stinging so much when I first started anal - it's only really been a problem in the last year - 18 months.

I'd be ok with just one orgasm from anal but I know my Master loves ass and as much as he tells to stop when it stings so much that I can't work through it, I feel like I'm letting him down or disappointing him.

I would say a good twelve hours would be safe. I have taken a bath, used silicone lube at night and played around the next morning with silicone toys. Never had a problem.

Now I should note that all my silicone toys are high quality (Tantus and Happy Valley) and so is the lube (Better Sex Essentials). The lube, when it has come in contact, has just kind of "Adhered" to the toy. After a good wash and some dry time I have found no lasting affects. Try it sometime, put a drop on the base of the toy and let it sit for a bit. Wipe it off, you will see a "ring" where the lube has been. Then wash it off and let sit for a day. It has been my experience that the "ring" will be gone the next day.

Sweet, thankyou for that.

The silicone ones I have are a few LELO vibes, Siena Rondo, Curve (by F.F) and a VixSkin. They say they are 100% silicone.

Only the VixSkin dildo really has a base where ya wouldn't see a test patch. So I'll do a test on him.
