I'm not an expert on lube but I usually toss stuff after one year. If it smells funny or anything you might toss it even sooner.

Yea I agree. Most of them dont really say much. But I wouldnt keep them in really hot or humid areas and sounds about right to tosss em out if you see anything different. (scent, color, etc)

I was wondering the same. And maybe - is there some limit like "use within 2 months after opening" or something like that?

ah, we have a big bottle of lube that's been around for almost 10 months now. It's only about half used. Sad to think we should probably get rid of it soon

I think they should put a suggest expiration date (After opening) on this, especially for organic lubes as they can sometimes ruin faster.

If it doesn't have a preservative I would toss it within 6 months to a year. You could refrigerate it if you want it to last longer.

Know your lube like you know your body if it changes its time to go. Keep it in a cool dry place and it should last as long as it takes to use it up. I've got a bottle that I've had for a while (over a year) that still works the same and is my travel option/ back up. And its doing fine

I would contact the manufacturer or submit a support ticket on Eden. Because Sliquid organics has no icky preservatives that means it probably expires faster. It's a good idea to double check. The organic lube I buy has a 6 mo from opening expiration.

I would say about a year but I'm not sure. I kinda compare them to some medicines...it would be better to check with the manufacturer..and when you find out, please let us know!!

It would be nice if the manufacturers would put an expiration date on the bottles.

On a lot of makeup and beauty products, they put the shelf-life on it, sort of like the recycling symbol. It looks like a little circular dish with a number on the inside, standing for how many months after purchase it'll be good for.

That being said, the sliquid products I have don't have that. :/ I wish they did! Especially because this one is organic, I would imagine it would expire faster than other products. I would toss after a year, but if anything changes in consistency or texture before then, it's probably done for.

A year in a temperature controlled space is pretty typical. Your results can vary, so if you notice any changes in consistency, probably better to toss it
