I was in a serious discussion at work about anal lube and my friend is looking for something other than the standard ky jelly. There are so many great choices on EF and I've been reading reviews but I want to know what your personal experiences with anal lube so I can let him know and he can purchase the right product for him and his wife. Thanks

Sliquid Sassy is my favorite. No glycerin or parabens and lasts a long time.

I love the Jo water based anal lube. Then again it's the only anal lube I have tried so far.

There are a lot of choices and it really depends on what you are looking for.
Silicone based lubes will probably last the longest and have the most slickness.
Oil based lubes will perform similarly to silicone but are not compatible with latex condoms.
For water based, Maximus works well. It's thick and lasts but has parabens and tastes terrible.
If parabens are an issue, I've also used Sliquid Ride which is thinner and doesn't last as long as Maximus.

The biggest problem you face when finding a lube (for anything) is knowing what works with your body. Some folks experience burning or irritation with parabens and some get UTI's from glycerin too. For anal only play it is not always a big concern but chances are some lube will find its way to other parts of the body.

Thus far I've used only water based lubes, Astroglide and JOH2O anal lube. I don't find one better than the other.
I just bought a glass plug and if I leave it in for more than a 1/2 hour, the lube dries out, which isn't a good thing because it's large. I have some System JO's Premium silicone lubricant on the way. Hopefully that will work better with the glass toy.
