I am looking for a good anal lube and I know Maximus is great, but how does Sliquid Sassy compare? I'd rather have a lube that is paraben free (Sliquid), but am willing to sacrifice is Maximus is much higher quality.

I say Sassy..but I probably am no the best judge..I've been using Sassy for about a year now and haven't yet had the chance to try out Maximus. I've had a lot of luck with it at least, it hasn't dried out on me in the least opportune time, it lasts for a good while, assuming you put a descent amount on, and it's never been sticky!

I'm going to have to go with Maximus on this one. I have used both and Maximus is a thicker consistency and seems to last longer. Sliquid Sassy uses more natural ingredients, so if parabens are a concern, than Sliquid Sassy is the better choice. Me, I'll take Maximus.

Maximus does a great job of sticking around and lasting a long time, but I can't use it because of chemical sensitivity .

Scott, what do you use instead? I was planning on Maximus, but if I have a chemical sensitivity and don't know yet I don't want to be left without lube.

On the other hand, I've used some pretty nasty lubes vaginally (Durex, KY) and have not had an irritation problem. So maybe my ass would be fine, too?

I've found that if something irritated my vagina, it irritated my ass, too. I've never had a lube irritate only my ass. So, you're probably one of the lucky ones who doesn't have to worry about parabens.

I've had lubes that are no problem for masturbation but burn when used anally. Can't speak to whether they would burn vaginally for me, though.

So far my current "no problem" water-based find has been Probe Thick and Rich, but I haven't tried the Sliquid offering yet. Does Sliquid have free samples? After having two bottles of lube that cause problems sitting around I'm hesitant to spend money on a big bottle of something I can't use.

Haven't tried Sliquid as yet and at present, I use Maximus for everything w/o a problem. I like the idea of just one easy pump dispensable container hanging around.

It looks like the Sliquid would be much less likely to irritate - no parabens and no glycerin.

My wife uses Sliquid sassy, it is so good as she said. No odor, not thick, work fine with all anal toys she has.

I wonder if it is thick enough to stay around on big toys.

Both are fun but its all up to what you really want in a lube

We use Maximus and love it.

Thicker fluid is always better.

Maximus probably performs better, but Sliquid is a decent anal lube. Plus knowing that it doesn't have parabens or glycerin makes me feel better about using it.

I'm a big fan of Maximus, I think it's a great lube but I've never had a chance to use the Sliquid.

I like sliquid, but I'm kind of biased - very sensitive to chemicals.
01/26/2012
like Maximus but never tried sliquid

I haven't used either but I'm getting maximus

I'd say neither, I prefer silicone lube for anal.

Sassy Booty!
I have tried Maximus, but I hate it. I have no clue what I am sensitive to in it, but it burns like no tomorrow. I love Sliquid Sassy Booty though. It's really comfortably and provides lots of glide. Personally though, I prefer silicone for anal adventures.

Like Maximus, never tried Sliquid.

I'm decently sure the Sliquid is more body-safe, so that gets my vote.
05/05/2012
I haven't tried any of them.

XD i was about to ask this.

I think Maximus works better - thicker, lasts longer, and holds up better for use in the shower.
But my body didn't like it (burns a little)... and I don't like that it has parabens in it.
So voted for Sassy.

Sassy, because of the inactive ingredients (preservatives)
