System Jo Hybrid lube safe to use with Picobong Moka?

Contributor: thetryal thetryal
I was looking at getting the System Jo Hybrid lube. I read it has the slickness of a silicone lube and the benefits of a water based lubed. It has been said it doesn't have enough silicone to damage a toy. we have the Picobong Moka and do not want to damage it in anyway.

Is this safe to use with with this toy?

Thanks

The safest way to find out is to test it yourself. Apply a small amount of lube to the silicone on the handle and look for any reaction. If there is any kind of reaction, then the lube is not compatible.

Additionally, even if it appears to be compatible, I would spot test with each bottle even if it is the same brand. Manufacturers may change the formulation and you don't want to risk ruining your toy.

An alternative if you really want to use a silicone based lube that reacts is to use it with a condom.

Here is a workshop by ToyTimeTim that examined lube compatibility.

Welcome to the community! There is quite a bit of information available here on the forums. The one negative is that the search function is less than ideal. If you can't find an answer to a question, absolutely feel free to post it. The community is very welcoming and many will be happy to step up and try to help you.

I work in a brick and mortar and system JO does market itself as the ONE silicone lube that is safe to use with silicone toys they say because its medical grade silicone (in the lube) so we tell customers what system JO claims but we don't suggest that you try it without doing the test mentioned in @kindred s post.
