Water based lube in the shower

Hi All,

I'm quite new to the shower (vaginal) sex and could use some information on how well water based lubes work in the shower? Opinions would be great!

Not well at all, unfortunately. A teeny-tiny amount of water can sometimes help reactivate a water-based lube that's drying up, but in the shower or bath it'll just wash right off.

I second this, generally the water will make the lube run right off. If you don't have the shower spraying directly on you, then you might have better luck doing that.

Your quite welcome, I often like to take a silicone dildo into the shower with me for some wet fun. I use a water-based lube with that but have to use perhaps double the normal amount. I usually spray the shower head off to the side so I can have my fun without the need to reapply lube all the time.

water based lubes are water soluble so it'll wash off. I'd stick with a silicone or hybrid lube.
