I want a lubricant that's water based for sensual massage, that double up for sex/masturbation. I have astroglide and very much dislike it, I can't imagine using it for that purpose. I'd read that KY is good for it, but having used that before and disliking it as well.. my rather limited experience doesn't quite know what to look into.

I mostly want to use it for sort of... uhn, sensual masturbation. I bought a Tuyo and want to be able to start out with whole-body massage and finish off with a happy ending. *laugh*

I believe the Play line by Durex has something that might work. I've used the KY Touch stuff that's for both massage and lube and was VERY unimpressed. IT was "warming" and this actually caused a burning sensation when used for lube. However, the massage oils alone weren't so bad.

I second Sugargirl's suggestions.

The problem is that good lube and good lotion are designed to do different things, so there aren't many that do both well... If you're using it just for external stimulation, some massage oils might work well. Kama Sutra makes some good products- just remember that oil will break down latex in safe-sex situations!

I was able to find the 'play' line locally, so I went ahead and bought the sample pack. We'll see how it goes, thanks for the rec'.

*nods* The Tuyo is an external vibrator, though, so it maaay work, if only there weren't a handy nonslip band of silicone around the midriff of the thing.

I think I'll give the O'my Natural Lubricant as well, Sugargirl. I'd actually done a tone of review reading after posting this little thread, and had bookmarked that one in particular.

Since I've noticed that these threads don't 'bump up' when they're replied to, I'm not too embarrassed to reply to my thread after such a length of time...

For posterity: I wound up using jojoba oil, which I already owned. The Natural Love oils that eden carries seems quite lovely, and I very nearly ordered it, but realized that its contents are essentially very high quality oils that I already own. I figured, I should experiment with what I already own. I'll probably buy the Natural Love oils later, but for now, the odorless and easily absorbed jojoba gives me a good, smooth, vigorous massage that allowes me the Happy Ending I've been seeking -- externally.
