I hate anime. SO much. But I don't buy products based on packaging. I buy them based on reviews and personal taste in the product itself. Packaging is almost totally irrelevant.

The packaging wouldn't deter me from buying the toy, but I don't particularly like Anime-themed packaging.

Probably split on this topic, unless it's some character that I've always liked like Winry Rockbell, I wouldn't want some random cartoon on the packaging.

I voted "no" because I don't necessarily like the drawings on my packaging however having Japanese-style art on the box would not be enough to stop me from getting a toy. I prefer simple, classic packaging, but if the toy inside was of good quality, I'd definitely buy it regardless.
